Each leaf, a veined vessel, for a moment floats.
Wish after wish descends.
My palm receives a wisp of its reflection.
Hands hold a captive dream, born in the breeze.
Red hues dance over me.
When their shapes fall, I feel me, every part of me, all at once free to dream.

Leaves wave their last songs. I receive them.
Their melodies, my crown.
